I was leaving Costco going back to work, until some guy drove up to me offering me some speakers he got for "Free" at first i didnt want to go on with the deal but then he showed me he worked for "Worldwide Audio" or w/e...... SO at first he offered me 700 and i told him i didnt have that much so then i said ill pay 300. I bought it for 300, and i was reading some of the reviews for the system but it doesnt look good for me, some people said it sucks and its not even worth 38 bucks.... Someone with experience please tell me if these speakers are what they say they are. Thanks

Sorry man, but Kirsch speakers are "White Van" speakers -- cheap speakers sold as a scam out of vans to unsuspecting customers. There are several "White Van" brands sold by these con artists and they all have web sites that make it appear they are legitimate high-end speaker companies. Read the links below which discuss this and specifically what place the notorious Kirsch brand plays in this underworld. Some rules of thumb in speaker buying are 1) Never buy speakers you have never listened to and compared with other speakers 2) Never buy speakers from a van in a parking lot 3) Always do your research before buying.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Kirsch Speakers

I just picked up a kirsch k3 surround sound system from one of my buddies for $200, hes a trucker and told me his company is stuck with 3 trailerloads of these speakers, his boss wants $100 for each set, and he needed $100 so I helped him out. they are technically illegal because they dont have fcc clearance, i.e. the remote signals mess with tvs etc. When I turn down the receiver volume the tv changes channels, when I change the source the vcr turns off! This is annoying but once I set up the speakers to get sound from the tv, its all good. Theres no dolby 5.1 decoder so surround sound needs a seperate receiver, all receivers I looked at had more power and features than the kirsch, overall this system sounds great, but has no real usable feaures, it works for a set of stereo or computer speakers, but for a few bucks more you can get something way better that has surround sound built in, and you cant return something you bought in a parking lot.
