Anywhere along the border where there is a back road without a border stop, and anywhere that isn't fenced, where one can walk across the border, not only are there roving patrols, but there are surveillance cameras, and other modes of detecting activity on the border.

I live near the border, and have spent much time in these areas for wilderness purposes, and as soon as there are people in the area, the customs agents show up too, just to take a looksee.
