there are many factors that affecting height, I am going to point them regarding theire priority:
1- the average height of your parents ( 92% of people are between the hight of their parents)
2- the food supplement ( Milk, Vegitables are very important)
3- Sleep (Usually 8pm is when the growth hormon is going to be supplied so the best think is that you be in sleep in that time other than that 8 to 12 hours of sleep is neccessary)
4- this teory has no scientific background but it has experimental result, the sports shuch as basketball can help to becom taller.

"Choose your parents wisely" LMAO :) That's probably true, but in grade 6 I went on the monkey bars a lot, and I mean A LOT, like every recess. I grew twice as much as I was supposed to that year. Tho I don't know if that was a growth spurt or the monkey bars! (If you do decide to try the monkey bars, wear gloves, or put chalk on your hands or something - you get MAJOR blisters!) LOL, hope that helps.

you could no more change the size of the skeletal system as you could the color of the hair, eyes or skin.
growth hormone therapy is the only non-surgical method to increase the height beyond the natural genetic potential. a diet that is insufficient and nutrients and/or calories can surely impede growth but an excess of these nutrients does not enhance it.

ok, well dending on your age the natural ways would be to eat your necessary foods (veggies!), take vitamins, exercise but don't life weights too young it'll keep you short, and any other ways go see a doctor. If you don't mind pain, then there's always surgery

Eat less carbos, thats why many asians are short. i myself am kinda short. Good posture helps as well and good sleep. when sleeping make sure theres not much light, like don't sleep in the day. there is a scientific reason for that.

inversion tables help. you basically lay on this padded table and you flip upside down so your head is close to the ground, and your feet are up in the air. I usually grow an inch taller immediately after using it.
all it does is stretch the cartilage in between the bones in your spine, so the tallness goes away slowly. It does improve posture, so you can be taller by just improving your posture from this.
i have this one in my basement:

Tie weights on your feet at night and hang (weights) for end of bed while sleeping. You could put around neck but this is ill advised. Can cause serious side effects.

human growth hormone. But if your bones are already done growing, then you are out of luck. If your bones are done growing, then you would have to have a series of painful surgeries to gain a few inches.
