I'm just 23 years young, almost 24. My hair is graying rapidly and I'm starting to get wrinkles under my eyes. I seem to always be stressed out in life, but I wouldn't ever classify it as depressed. I just want to restore my body and start feeling my actual age, instead of mid 30's which is what I actually feel like.

BY LIVING...
accepting life's up's n down's.
you should NOT be experiencing those outward signs of aging at all at this age...you must destress and eat a healthy diet.

True, Gray hair and wrinkles are primarily caused by a lot of stress and lack of sleep but also something that runs in the family blood line. I agree that some stress is not related to depression. It's simple, just an over abundance of 'stuff' on your list. I get myself in a pinch to a point of over whelming myself in situations or things to do. If not accomplished, it could lead to depression. But we're stronger than that. Before new tasks are taken on, work on existing things by
grouping them into 3 levels of importance. Tackle the priority first, go to the next and so on. At the end of each level, be sure to treat yourself to something special, like a cocktail or soaking in the tub or something.
Age is just a number, It's how we feel and utilize time management that helps our life go a little smoother.
Good Luck to you honey !

I am 75 years young, my hair is completely white, I have wrinkles all over my body, I'm virtually stress free and I worked as a biochemist during my younger life. As a biochemist I know aging is irreversible; it is built into the very genes that control our body's development.

Be thankful that we do age and die! If life did not have a built in method to age and die we would soon run out of room to live and all life would become impossible. But you do not have to feel mentally old! Stay young in mind and spirit by exercising your brain, as well as your body and giving love to and accepting love from others.

Stay involved and stop worrying about what time is doing to your body; it happens to everyone. You say you are not depressed but I can tell you are anxious about this. That anxiety and resulting worry is probably what is causing you to feel stressed rather than stress causing you to age.

Love is an act (and I don't mean the sex act) more than a feeling. You can show love to others by kind words and deeds even if you don't feel attachment. These acts of love will prompt them to act and speak kindly in return; which will reduce your perception you are losing it and tell you you are an attractive person.

In short strive to be a "bubbly" out going happy person rather than a worrier. Ever heard of worry lines? They arise in the skin due to the muscle tension in the frowning face; acts of love reduce worry tension. Relax!! You have a long happy life ahead of you.

Good luck in relaxing, good health, peace and love!

Stress can add to increaing your physical appearance. I encourage you to find some form of relaxation such as meditation, imagery, massage. To assist with lines around your eyes use vaseline in the evening. The greying of your hair is the hair losing it's pigmentation. Short of dying your hair there is nothing you can do to reverse this process. People have different rates of aging and in today's society, people tend to show age more if they are stressed often. Talk to someone if you find yourself having too much stress. A person is never alone and there are many programs available to help with coping.
Take time for yourself. Treat yourself to a bubble bath!

maybe you could try some moisturizers for your eyes and dye your hair. lots of poeple go gray early or even lose their hair early. try also to reduce your stress as much as possible by getting plenty of sleep and relaxing and doing something you enjoy like if you have a hobby. my husband likes to fly and work on rc airplanes and that keeps his stress low. also try some meditation nice long showers or baths. i know that sounds girly but guys need pampering too. hope this helps
