THis makes no sense to me when Christianity has spawned the most free societies in the world where even Atheists are tolerated while Islam has only one Liberal Democracy (Turkey) out of 53 states. Christian nations give rights to women, minorities and allow other religions to practice freely while in almost all muslim nations freedom of religion and expression are hindered by Shariah Law.
What do you all see at all worth while in Islam?
You know your head would not be connected to your neck in any Islamic nation if you said one tenth of what you speak here? Respect both or neither. Or better yet realize the vast differences and thank Christians for creating societies that allow you to thrive.

Indonesia is a democracy not a liberal democracy. Liberal democracies give rights to minority groups and allow freedoms that Indonesia doesn't. Indonesia does not even allow a Muslim to abandon his faith for any reason.

Because the Atheists strive against the truth. Christianity is the only real Truth. Islam is not the truth and also has no real power. Atheists want to be the power and Christianity threatens them. Islam has to force their power and Atheists have to reason their beliefs. The earth,nature, and the solar system testifies of the greatness of Jesus.
America also testifies of Jesus' greatness. Given it has problems, but we are the most blessed of all countries. Because we based our country on the Word of God.
Haiti used to be a beautiful place, where royalty would vacation. Then they dedicate the country to the devil and now it's one of the poorest of countries.
So in closing the athiests don't believe in God and neither do those who practice Islam, but The Word of God has proved itself time and time again.

1) Islam doesn't contradict science, *some* Christians do.
Proof: Avicenna was a famous muslim scholar who developed modern algebra and medicine, nicknamed the doctor of doctors.
2) Islam is misunderstood, bombarded with lies and such, mostly from Christians that wants more converts, they attack the atheists too so, sorta on the same side.
Proof: Study Islam and you'll see the difference between a terrorist and a muslim.
3) Atheists aren't bound to the dogma of a religion, they are free to study any religion. So, when people say horrible stuff about some other religion, they understand that it is wrong and they are just being fair.

Are you serious?! I can't speak for everyone, but i myself and many others that i know and have read comments by on this site find both Christianity and Islam to be equal in the rubbish department, and not too far apart from one another in the bad ideas department.

False religions and false gods do not offend in the same way Christianity offends, because it is founded on the truth of God's word. Jesus is a 'rock of offense' to those that don't believe in Him. Satan is happy when people worship false gods and their religions--they are all from him. Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life--and those who follow Him will be opposed until He returns.

I don't "cover" for anyone. I state it all like I see it, both in Islam and Christianity... i.e. people are people first and if they're so inclined to use religion to further some agenda they're going to do it, no matter what.
