From a non-Christian, let alone non-religious. A lot of non-religious people are indeed the latter. We are not all vulgar, prideful, arrogant people.

To be childlike in the sense of being in the moment, loving life without needing other goals could be quite an artistic or holy or idiotic state of being, depending on how one looks at it.

Yea, I am so glad your not arrogant or prideful. and proud of it.
Some people are just vulgar, some on here are kids.
What he was talking about was open and kind and not judgemental. Children have to be taught hate, racism, jealousy and how to be cruel.
Put a bunch of kids together without grownups and they get along just fine.
Put a bunch of arrogant men together and their is to many chiefs and not enough Indians.

Those that still believe in fictional characters would be childish. They exhibit childlike behaviors.
