I am a Christian and have been for a number of years, but for the first time I realised that I had no idea how long Jesus went through His trial before His cruxifiction.

So basically how many days was it from His arrest in the Garden of Gethsemane to being cruxified on the cross at Golgotha. When you read the Gospels it is not very clear. The only thing that is clear is what happened in between, going to Pilate, going to Herod, going back to Pilate - and was flogged, and Jesus was also imprisoned during this time. Was it all done in one day? Or did it happen over several days? The only time span we do know, and is very clear in the Bible is Christ was cruxified then He rose 3 days later.

Only serious and productive, nonjudgemental answers only please. Thank you

The reason I asked about days, is I had a discussion with a fellow Christian and they said it was days.

My view of it is if it was days then it would say so in The Bible. For how I read it is He was in Gethsemane on the day of the Last Supper, He prayed about the forthcoming events. Judas brought the soldiers and priests in the early hours. (We can see this from the prediction of Peter's denial, he will deny Christ 3 times before dawn). Then it is written about going to the different places. So basically my understanding of the time line is:
Thursday arrested, Friday tried, flogged and cruxified, Sunday rises from death.

I should have stated this first sorry for the confusion.

It was overnight.
He held: The Last Supper" after sun-down, went to the Garden of Gethsemene and spent hours in prayer.
Soldiers came.
It is impossible to pinpoint, but it must have been at least midnight or 1 in the morning.
He was bandied back and forth all night and at approximately noon was nailed to the stake.
He hung there for about 3 hours. ....leading us till 3 P.M..
That fits, in a general way, since there was an eclipse when he died.

The resurrection is a foundational doctrine, yet of the body isn't. Jesus says, my flesh I provide to the international. because the Passover lamb it had to be completely ate up. John also says that we do not comprehend what he's, yet we do comprehend that we are going to be like him--i the resurrection--so if it became the body he had at the same time as he were given the following, the bathroom knew what that became--so how do we harmonize all the scriptures? You kind of ignored the point of John 2:21. in a unmarried experience he became speaking of his resurrection, notwithstanding the relationship with the body is to the Bride of Christ. we are the body of Christ. it is yet another confirmation that we are in the finest days. Jesus became in the grave elements of three days. In elements of three days (day with The Lord is 1000 years) his church, Bride will be raised. all of us comprehend the first resurrection can't take position until eventually Jesus's Parousia.

I believe Maundy Thursday, the Thursday before Easter, is called that because it is believed that this was the last day that Jesus was with His disciples and was arrested that night. If this is true, that would mean that He was crucified within 24 hours, or less, from His arrest.

it wasn't a trial
pilot stood jesus and Barabbas up before the people and asked the people who should be let free
what pilot did was use a tradition the Jews had
"each year one prisoner could be set free by the people "
jesus was never tried ,the Jewish people just chose that he should die without a trial

He spent one sleepless, agonizing and tortuous night being dragged across Jerusalem from one place to another to see one dignity or another, and then in the morning he was crucified, after having been beaten and spit on, slapped, and pierced with a crown of thorns.
