Easy-get an old diesal car, have a mechanic make the easy conversion so it can run on biodesil, and run it on vegetable oil. You can buy this gas from companies too, that will deliver it.

Ride a bike, take the bus, walk. I just read an article about a guy that is converting diesel engines into engines that run on vegetable oil. You could look into that too.

Research alternate modes of transportation... like electric cars, biofuel, solar power or bicycles. (I bought a Flybo electric car for $10,000.)
But, you're not supporting terrorists when you buy fuel. You're supporting Oil & War Mongers like the Bush Admin. America is #1 in CO2 emissions. Wiki it-- you'll see.

Seriously, we are coming up with making new fuel & products using natural resources. In the Seattle Times the other day. It is something we should do, because if our products are more natural & aour fuel sources more pure, then they are less toxic & people will live longer, healthier lives & be more productive. I believe it is happening right now.

Very little US oil comes from the middle east. It mostly goes to Europe.
