A.

And I would also be concerned about what it would mean for the economy. When the economy is bad, funding is cut for social programs and people are sometimes less likely to give to relief programs unless the effect the tragedy has on the poor gets a lot of media attention.

A.

The oil industry can stand to lose one tanker, it's a drop in the bucket for them. I'd be more worried for the men and women working on the tanker, and the wildlife whose environment has been rendered uninhabitable for the next 10 years or so.

If an oil tanker ruptured on your neighborhood would you be more worried about your family, neighbors, and property? Or the well-being of a gluttonous industry?

C) both A and B and the potential loss of life of people involved in the accident. I don't walk party lines, i go with what i think is right. yes, i know, conservative and liberal are not parties but they're close enough. I'm a hardcore conservative on about every other issue though.
peace

First I'd think of issue A, then I'd think about how long it would be before I could afford a tank of gasoline again because the oil company wouldn't take the loss, they'd make up for it out of our pockets.

Then I would praise the Quick response from G.W. Bush and still believe he and Reagan are the cream of the crop of 20th century Presidents.
