Why are people obssed with "The End of The World" gig and "Anti-Christ" and all?

Here I present you my mathematical equation on why Mr.XXX here is the Anti-Christ.

If you take his birthday, plus five, minus six, divide by eleven, plus 42, and see, 666. He IS the Anti-Christ.

"Um, why must there be the five, six, eleven and 42?"

Well anyway, why are people obsessed with the End of the World thing?

I thought religion just said that "live a good life, do good to others. Yes, there will be the end of the world but for God's sake just don't hurt anyone innocent."

...newborn babies are innocent.

Any time the world around us seems more chaotic than usual, the "end of the world" people seem to come out of the wood work. The Bible clearly states that NO ONE other than God himself will know the day or the hour but because it also says that believers will know the season, people automatically think that because things are bad in the world or that certain prophecies have been in their eyes fulfilled that this must be the time.

I used to be one of them. I was sure that the end times were here but have since come to realize that I was in truth arguing with Jesus. Now I simply hope that the end times are soon but don't worry about the when or even the how.

Because most of the religions from all over the world all predicted something significant would happen just a few years from now, many believe something is really going to happen, as they all came up with the same dates. Many on the world stage are acting in accordance with the Myths, including our President. One might be concerned about wish fulfilling prophecies, and what effect they may be having on the rest of us, including those that concern Jerusalem and the Middle East.

Others are hoping for the end of the world so sinners will get their just deserts.

The Bible definitely speaks on the subjects:
End of the world and Anti-Christ.
Problem is most people only know the Bible speaks on those subjects.
They don't know WHAT it says!
So, they feed each others insecurities.
What the Bible says is quite simple and straightforward.
However, nobody has taken the time to read, think and reason.
BTW 'Religion' is NOT simply about being good.
Its also about "Your will be done on earth."

actually the bible is the past stealing from the future ... in terms of prophecy.... like backwards karma... I get today and someone in the future looses.... Julius Cesar was an expert so to protect his interest in the prophecy he built the roman catholic church..... so he stole the prophecies and tried to change them or prevent them from occurring... most writings of the bible reflect today or recent history (about 50 yrs or so)... EX the story of Jesus reflects the life of John Lennon. to make a long story short.... that which created catholicism and christianity is ending and they are quite upset in the spirit world.... it's not our world that is ending it's theirs....

No one is innocent, we are all sinners. When one of us believes that we all are then the rest rush to stop his voice. That will end with the end of this world. Then there will not be time left to listen.
