trying to drag people into church to sing silly songs etc... bloody hell can they not give it a rest... and leave Easter alone, it probably one of the best weekends on the binge drinkers calender!!!!!!!! surely they can invent a churchy weekend some other time ....

Ollie: Stanley says, "It most certainly is, Ollie" !!! In other words, both, Christmas and Easter are Biblical - related holidays ! Should we take the "religion" out of these days, employers could have people come into work, and produce more $ - the other religion North Americans worship ! Maybe we should "hijack" the $ and sanity would return to the North American family, instead.

I bet you would be the first to complain if you didnt get christmas presents or an easter egg.
Easter eggs wont give you cirrhosis of the liver.
You dont wake up next to an ugly bird after a night on the easter eggs

No, there's no longer something incorrect with celebrating those trip journeys. i'm an atheist and that i do no longer probably rejoice Easter, Christmas etc, yet when I ever do have childrens i will rejoice the trip journeys with them. it incredibly is great which you do rejoice those trip journeys including your toddlers, they're going to have fond innovations of it.

I thought both Christmas and Easter was to do with the birth and Crucifixion of Christ!

well, now that the truth is coming out that they stole it from the pagans, they're trying to get people on their side. they can't bear the fact that all their lives they've been following a phony religion, so they're just pulling all the people into their mess in the hope that they can clean it up
or maybe they're just trying to make the hole country christian before they all turn pagan.

The Romans did that. Easter or Christmas is not in the Bible anyways. They both originated as pagan holidays that did't have anything to do with jesus. Baptism is a symbol for Jesus being buried and risen from the grave. Thats why we do it after we recieve him in to our heart, its like our old self dying,{ going in the grave} and coming up out of the water as in Jesus rising up, we are new, just as he was transformed when he rose from the dead.

well, i am a christian and i don't believe in celebrating christmas and easter like the world does, in terms of the easter bunny and santa clause (satan lucas) because these originated from paganism. i sort of do agree with you. but it depends in what way you look at it.

Why does it bug u,? dont go to church, if u dont want to. God dont force anyone!
Go get drunk and enjoy the weekend off as u please!
and us Christians will go to church, and celebrate the real Easter!
