If you have the right drivers I dont see the problem. As for keys you could change the functions or buy a seperate mac keyboard.

No, Mac OS isn't written solely for a Mac. It is written specifically for a Mac. That doesn't mean you can't install it on a WinTel platform box. There are, however, some specific needs for it.

No, Apple doesn't try to make the OS only work with high quality hardware. They make the super performing OS and then they must make high quality hardware because that is what is needed to work with the super performance Mac OS X. For that matter, try installing Vista on a ten year old computer.

No, you can't make a DOS/FAT32 or NTFS partition for it. It needs either a UFS (Unix file system) or HFS+ (hierarchal file system plus) format. This means you are almost sure to devote a hard drive to just Mac OS X with no Windows version on it. It could be a second drive in the computer, of course.

It is possible to install Mac OS X on some Intel X86 ("PC") computers. Some people have had success with the Dell Dimension 4600. To choose the correct system (or build it yourself), you must follow certain guidelines. First, forget about any old PC using BIOS. That's ancient technology anyway. Microsoft even started Vista development with the intention of making it for Extensible Firmware Interface (EFI) only but they backed off because some dinosaur box makers didn't get tooled up in time. All the Apple computers have been EFI since around 1999 because they like to use innovative technology.

You'll need a newer box using Extensible Firmware Interface (EFI) in place of BIOS. But that's just the beginning. You can only install and expect good performance if the processor and chipset are top quality so follow the link below for more info. There's just one part of it I don't fully believe: "This hardware can be obtained for around $100." Yeah, right.

it's much easier on mac because they build the hardware so i can work and they don't need to make the os compatible with every cpu ram motherboard hard drive cd drive etc out there and also apple is primarily a hardware company

When you partition your disk before loading windows, you can make multiple partitions and load Mac OS on one of the partitions and windows on the other.
