In a Word document, at top of file, click Format, Paragraph. Look to the right, midway down.

click the down arrow next to "line spacing" and select "single"
where it says "at," type a 1

dude be more specific! what do u mean by double spaces on Microsoft windows?? you talking about MS word???

Highlight text (CTRL A) and hit CTRL. 2 to double space.
