No Christian accepts Jesus as their Savior. This is merely a misguided reaction to what the Holy Spirit has already done for us. Grace precedes faith, it does not follow our own initiative. All of salvation belongs to God. No one gets to claim anything for themselves in the process.

I accept the possibility that a man named Jesus lived around the same time as the one you call Jesus Christ. I do not, however, believe he was divine in any way....and I certainly don't believe he is my personal lord and savior. As a historical figure, he should be respected but he should not be remembered as a prophet or "the son of man"....I hope you can learn to accept that...peace.
