I know there used to be. The last time I checked at the allergists' office they told me the poison ivy vaccine was discontinued because so many people had adverse reactions to it. When they did give it; they gave it in the middle of winter, so people would not be exposed to poison ivy at the same time as getting the vaccine.

Poison Ivy Vaccine

Leave poison ivy alone. There is no vaccine for it. You can kill it off with a broad leaf weed killer. Do not try to pull it out to get rid of it. You will only increase your risk of contact.
Are you sure it is poison ivy? Poison oak and poison sumac will do the same thing. Not that it matters the results are the same, I guess?

I used to get the vaccine when I was in middle school in the 80s every summer before I went off to camp. I had one injection every week the month of March in my rear. It was a life saver. I still would get poison Ivy, but at least my eyes wouldn t swell shut like they usually did without the shot.

No there is no vaccine but if you keep getting into it why not avoid the spot where it is or get rid of the poison ivy plants you are coming in contact with.

No.

You can take benedryll to treat the symptoms of it and put on calamine lotion, but there is no vaccine.

I'm sure if you get it frequently, your body will eventually develop immunity for it.
