There's no way you can boycott gas. What will you do, one day's worth? That won't affect anything. The prices are set by weekly consumption. And I dare you to try and get people to stop buying gas for a week.

The better answer would be to promote e85 (ethanol fuel), basically cutting 85% of our need for oil. When the buyers start setting the price again, we'll see it go down.

As everyone else has pretty much stated a boycott on gas will do little good only because Americans will not part with their private modes of transport. Most of us need our cars to get to work to pay the rest of our bills.

That being said it does not stop Americans from boycotting certain oil companies which will cripple those particular companies if done on a mass scale, the downfall is that you'll just be contributing to another which may or may not defeat the purpose of your boycott. Personally I am boycotting Mobil/Exxon and Citgo gas. I have personal reasons for boycotting them and encourage everyone I know to do the same.

Of course Mobil/Exxon and Citgo are of the largest organizations on the planet so my boycott is no more than symbolic unless a much larger percentage of consumers do the same, but it's the principle of the matter.

Good luck on your boycott!

this one would be self evident. Spread the word, make it a cause. Use alternative products.
except of course you can't boycott oil industry. driving isn't necessarily a commodity, any longer. Yet with the high prices on the gas station, that is a boycott in of itself. People don't have the money to do what they would like to do, from fiscal hardship. the gas is used sparingly for most for the necessities of life.
But to start a boycott is to not use the product. And if you find it a cause for boycott the word will get out.

Start a web site and Simply print up flyers announcing the dates of your boycott. Pass them out in malls, churches, synogoges and street cornerss. Send the News media your information for contact person and get the backing of your local government officials to participate. It's an election year, they need exposure for causes that concern you

definitely, CNN is tilted to the Left. FOX gets the attractiveness of being a Conservatively biased community purely for the fact that they do characteristic greater hosts that are Politically Conservative, Hannity, Hume etc. yet it is purely the Cable factor. on the community factor permit's settle for it, Objectivity and credibility has taken a holiday. With Dan particularly and the faked Bush papers, working with the tale while the authenticity replaced into questionable somewhat exhibits a bias. To having a former Clinton staffer, Stephanopoulus(sic.) all straight away transforming into an "impartial" information journalist? Sorry, can no longer help yet be skeptical. once you have poll after poll of information Jouralists admit they are Liberal leaning or continuously vote Democrat, there is reason to be slightly skeptical to their "objectivity". If people do unlike FOX, the respond is easy, do no longer watch it. in case you do unlike Conservative communicate radio, do no longer pay attention to it. If people in u . s . are as "Liberal" as such incredibly some here look to have self belief why did Air u . s . bypass down in flames?

Propaganda is the best method to get the people incited. Then organize a protest rally against the increase of gas prices.

Look up their site, for why they are boycotting. American Family Assoc.

And good luck!

Boycott democrats!!! They're the ones who have stopped us from drilling off our own shores (while cuba drills from the same areas), they're the one making it difficult to drill in Alaska, in New Mexico and elsewhere.

Dude, go where the problems exists!!!
