Nope. As far as I have been able to determine, Yeshua or Jesus didn't exist. There are no contemporary accounts of a "Jesus of Nazareth" - and this includes the dramatizations in the Bible. They were all composed 30-40 years after Jesus's reported death.

The biggest promoter of the Jesus myth was Saul or St. Paul, who never knew or saw Jesus.

The core of Christianity is the Resurrection - the death of Jesus and his return to the living. If the Resurrection fails to meet the smell test, there is no point to the Christian religion.

OK....here is the deal.....why is every historical document taken as fact, like the history of Europe for example....a majoity of the things we know about the famous people of that time we from writings and documents written by others.....so why is that ok but the gospels are taken as questionable.....I beleive the bible is partially based on true events and parts of it are ment only to teach, kinda like fables and such. Jesus was a man, the christian ackknowledge his existance, the muslims do, and so do did the acient romans.....so he did exist. A man named Jesus did exist....was he more that just a great man, you will never be able to "prove" that.....it all part of what we call FAITH.....

considering that not one fact in the King James Bible (not the other corrupt versions) has ever been proven false. ON the contrary the bible is proven right as new scientific discoveries are made. If you cannot prove it wrong it MUST be right. You have faith in things that dont matter but not in the one thing that will keep you out of hell. Thats sad and i hope you will trust Jesus and be saved.
