Perhaps Jesus didn't die on the cross (maybe he was never on the cross at all), he just had created a monster with all these people looking up to him and couldn't take the pressure. He faked his death so he could live in peace.

Hmmmmm?

The fact of His death and resurrection has been reported by historians of His time who were NOT Christians, by the way, so why would they lie?

Sure....Jesus faked His death. Then how can this be explained:
1. Who moved the stone that was in front of the tomb?
2. How do you explain that those who knew Jesus best were THERE when He was crucified, and could testify that it WAS Him?
3. How do you explain the fact that most of those who are in the medical profession say that when Jesus was pierced by the spear, He most definitely WAS dead.
4. Why are there historical writings OUTSIDE OF THE BIBLE, written by non-Christians (Pliny the Younger, for example) which state that there was a man called Jesus, whom some called the Christ, who was ordered to be crucified by Pontius Pilate?
5. Did Jesus walk out of the tomb Himself, somehow making it past the dozen or so Roman guards who were stationed outside? Was He somehow strong enough to fight them off? Or did He somehow go against the odds (which psychologists say is IMPOSSIBLE), and hypnotize all of them?
6. No one has EVER survived a crucifixion. It's impossible.
7. If He wanted to be "left in peace," why did He appear to His disciples?
8. You could say that His disciples were lying, to make themselves feel better. There are several problems with that argument:
A. If you were faced with two choices: To recant and live, or die a horrible death, what would you do? "Ha ha, sorry guys, Jesus really did die. Please don't let that lion eat me!"
B. Why did the Roman government not turn up Jesus's body? I'm sure they would have been HAPPY to, to end that pesky Christian movement.
9. What changed Jesus's brother James's mind? James didn't believe in Jesus, did NOT believe He was the Son of God. Why, SOMETHING must have happened!

I could go on. Sorry. Your argument holds no weight.

I guess when we all die we will find out one way or another, won't me? But I'm pretty sure begin nailed to a cross for three days with no food or water-and having your side pierced is going pretty far to fake a resurrection.

you know, anything is really possible...

but that being a hoax would be a hard possibility to believe in.

if you really want to be logical about it, you have to study what we do have right now... all the historical evidence in the form of ancient manuscripts & archaelogical artifacts

most people who did do their own personal research would be hard pressed to believe anything other than a genuine resurrection story taking place (& most people who don't are either non-believers or religious blind followers)

The Jews still believe that the disciples stole Jesus' body from the grave that's what they bribed the Roman guard to say.

Muslims believe what you say, that Jesus was never crucified.

Atheists can't see the point, just another criminal dead.

Christians believe what happened.

The resurrection did happen and salvation through Jesus Christ is very real! In the case of the TV program that aired to the contrary I ask, when you know that 99.9% of all the stuff they put on TV is done for sensationalism and ends up being a bunch of malarkey, why would you believe it?

If it was so, then why wouldn't the Jewish Pharisees make it be known? Hmmmmm?

They were having their world torn apart religiously by the Christian message. They used a name for the upstart Christians-- Schizmatics.
