Lions hunt cooperatively. Our two domestic cats (non-purebred siamese and a red tabby alleycat) used to work together to catch mice. I swear I'm not making this up when I say that one of them would sit by the heater vent where a mouse was, and not move. He'd face the vent and "stand guard". Then an hour or so later, the other would join him. A few minutes later, the first one would leave! IT was like the changing of the guards!! They would SOO take turns waiting for the mouse to dare show itself. THey were both very good mousers.

"The feral clowder bonds together for mutual comfort and affection, but will seldom hunt together or band in mutual defense against a common enemy. "
