It's supposed to be, but isn't it amazing that God can be jealous and we can't?
See Commandment #1: Thou shalt have no other gods before me for I am a jealous God.

Yes.Jealousy means we are living in this material world. Free from jealousy means living with God. Many Cristian claim themselves to be saved, but they are jealous of other religions.

Everything we do and everything that we are is sin without Jesus. We are born with the sin nature because of Adam's disobedience to God.
