I seen someone ( Lokasenna i believe ) mentioned the name Fenris i think it was
yet in a few books I have here the name is said to be Fenrir
is this just a difference in translation ... or is he known by both ?
perhaps you could suggest some books with proper translations of Snorri Sturlusons works ?

There's a few alternative spellings: Fenrir, Fenrisulfr (Fenris Wolf), Fenrisúlfr, úlfr Fenris...all referring to the same wolf.

Fenrir is the name of the Wolf.
He is also known as The Fenris Wolf.
