Because men think with one brain and it's not the one in their head. Having a superficial image of what a woman should look like comes from their fantasies, not from reality. We are forced to live up to it.

Men are mostly about what they like in a woman. Shapes and looks can always be passed up for the good stuff. Spend less time trying to live and look like barbie, it isn't that big a deal to most of us.
When Harry Met Sally ... one of the best lines of the movie sez soooo much about how we think.

Billy Crystal (Harry):Because no man can be friends with a woman that he finds attractive. He always wants to have sex with her.

Because of the over exposure of a certain body type that is the standard that everyone must achieve. Through all media formats 'sex' is the #1 advertising key into the hearts & minds of us men...and conversely women see this & feel that their only way into a man's eyes is by being the woman with the best assets.

Because we are men. Now, we don't always complain, but maybe most of the time. After a few years, I don't complain any more, I just admire.

I don't know that many men who do complain, I have only met one guy in my whole life who ever complained about his girl's body and i think it was because he was insecure about his own odd body!She was curvalicous! He was just a nut!

Women's bodies, and men's, are forms of art and expression.

Big Tall Short Small Thin Fat or any combination thereof provides me great joy.
You just can't exceed the fixed balance rule. You cannot have a huge booty and not have a matching set of cans. If you have a huge booty and are flat chested, it just DOESN'T work at all baby. Defies the laws of nature

Because women allow them to. We try to change our appearance for men and don't say anything to them when their bellies go down to the floor, when their butts shrink, when they scratch themselves and adjust themselves in public. Yet as soon as a man says I like big breasts we run and jump to get bigger breasts, butts, smaller waists and things like that. I say we should make men jump through hoops for us.

It's not usually the guy that has the problem. Television, magazines, media have made society truly believe that you have to be skinny to be attractive. The fact is, it is extremely hard for a woman to keep up her shape.

they have an idea of the perfect body- just like us women and from the media and stuff it makes them want those kinds of figures (not all men though)
