My boyfriend and I have been together for 1 year and 4 months and we have been good friends since high school. We will be 23 this year. we had been having some problems mostly due to his bad attitude but he has never cheated on me or anything like that. Well I screwed up bad for the first time 2 weekends ago and blew up on him when I shouldn't have. He wanted to break up with me but we decided to work things out. Anyways I screwed up again for the 2nd time. Last weekend he went out with his coworkers and I went out with my friends and ended up gettig really drunk and kissing one of my friend's friend but I dont even remember it. the only reason I found out was because my friends brought it up a few nights later. They said it was no big deal and that we were all drunk and acting stupid but i felt terrible and ashamed, so I decided to tell my boyfriend because I would want him to do the same for me. Well he didn't take it well and he hasn't talked to me for 2 days. What should I do?

There isn't much you can do at this point. Let him cool off and see if he gets over it. He may not. You made a mistake. If things are going to work out with this guy then they will, it sounds like the ball is now in his court. What you did was wrong but trust me, it could have been worse and a lot of us do that! Feeling ashamed sucks but you can't change what already happened! good luck!

You should realize that people do stupid things when they are drunk.

There is nothing you can do, he now realizes that you are not a trustworthy person and he should probably move on. Good luck not cheating on the next boyfriend.

sounds like both of you are trying so hard not to be the one that broke up the relationship and you're both are willing to be so miserable just to continual avoiding that.

I love and admire the fact you were up front about, whatever drunk and flirty, no big deal as far as i'm concerned... but the fact that "the relationship couldn't take it" is sign enough it wasn't going to last anyways.

This relationship is a horse with a broken leg. You know what they do to horse's with broken legs, right?

I think you both want out of the relationship but neither one of you quite REALIZES that yet.

He has anger management issues and you're out kissing other boys.

Get out the shot-gun, honey. It's time to put that horse down.
