I don't want people to hurt me or the people I care about, so I won't hurt other people because doing so just creates a vicious unending cycle of revenge that hurts EVERYONE.

Theism and Atheism are the two opposites in the divine paradox. Either you believe or you don't believe.
I wager on the side of Belief!
But I understand and accept the opposite as being just a possible. I would just rather believe and be wrong, than not believe and be wrong. ;-)
