True. You can't explain math to a person that believes 1+1+1=1.

How is the story of Jesus absurd? Many non-Biblical scholars agree that he was a historical figure who existed in the first century CE. The historical details surrounding him that are recorded in the Bible are accurate, from the traditions of the day to the names and actions of the Roman rulers to the very vernacular used to pen the scrolls.
You can spout all the physical and cosmological laws you wish and I will respectfully listen as long as you are a properly qualified speaker. I have no issue with science other than people pushing the theory of evolution as absolute law. I simply attribute the laws of physics and cosmology to the creator of us all, God.
You are entitled to exercise your free will just as I am entitled to exercise mine. At least I am doing so in a respectful manner.
Edit to Markyyy: not all Christians believe in the Trinity. I know that 1+1+1=3, just as I know that the Trinity is a man made doctrine, not a Biblical teaching. Just so you know :0)

Why don't you contact any one of these Christians:
http://www.answersingenesis.org/home/area/bios/
and ask them the same question. They are ALL Christians, and ALL scientists.
How about a sampling?
Dr. E. Theo Agard, Medical Physics
Dr. James Allan, Geneticist
Dr. Steve Austin, Geologist
Dr. S.E. Aw, Biochemist
Dr. Thomas Barnes, Physicist
Dr. Geoff Barnard, Immunologist
Dr. Don Batten, Plant physiologist, tropical fruit expert
Dr. John Baumgardner, Electrical Engineering, Space Physicist, Geophysicist, expert in supercomputer modeling of plate tectonics
Dr. André Eggen, Geneticist
Dr. Dudley Eirich, Molecular Biologist
Prof. Dennis L. Englin, Professor of Geophysics
Prof. Danny Faulkner, Astronomy
Prof. Carl B. Fliermans, Professor of Biology
Prof. Dwain L. Ford, Organic Chemistry
Prof. Robert H. Franks, Associate Professor of Biology
Would you like to explain to one of the physics professors on the list the laws of physics?
And by the way, it would seem like foolishness to you. It seemed like it to me for a long time, too. So I understand, probably better than you can imagine.

With all the explaining you would have to do to explain the laws of physics and cosmology, if this happened, this might happen, or if it doesn't happen then we go to this to see if that will happen and so on and so on........
With God it's just simply I AM.

Fortunately, many Christians are smart enought to accept the fact that the Bible doesn't make sense and is disconnected from material reality, but they can believe it anyway and still pursue knowledge that does in fact make sense, comfortable in the knowledge that it will all somehow reconcile itself in the end.

Perhaps you should read Pascal and Newton to understand their perspective. Science and faith are not contradictory.
