I want to compare two folders while ignoring the file extension so that JUST the filenames are the criteria!?

I have tried using a lot of folder comparison software but I cant figure out how to make it think that .wma and .mp3 are the same thing, thus comparing two different types of files in two folders. HELP!!!

Open the two folders
right-click on an empty spot on the taskbar
select "tile vertically"

When finished
right-cl on an empty spot on the taskbar
select "undo tile"
