Well, a heathen infidel 'kaffir' is just another name that I have been labeled with because I do not subscribe to some crazy desert Abrahamic religion. Oh well, I've been called worse...LMAO

You already translated it. A kafir = a heathen (who refuses to believe God exits).
The Quran ordered Muslims to fight back heathens, who started attacking them. God said to kill them if they insist on worshipping idols. It does not mean for us to kill heathens at present time. Ignore what the Qaeda fanatics are doing, they made laws of their own.
