i just started dating a girl who i met at a music shop two days ago.

It's not weird but it's also not a usual place where people meet each other and end up dating. Your mates are laughing cos it's unusual and people always laugh at things or other people that are different.
Take no notice of them and just enjoy yourself!

You never know when or where you will meet that special someone, so why would this be weird. Let your friends laugh all they want... you dont plan on spending the rest of your life in bed with them do you?

Two days isn't long enough to even establish a friendship much less a relationship.
There are a lot of things you don't know about this girl, a lot of possibly scary things. Be carefull.
