If you can't afford pro, you probably also can't afford the fines for illegal file sharing, so be careful what you are downloading off limewire - if you can't get it free from the store, you shouldn't be downloading it for free off the 'net. I'd avoid it altogether personally. that being said, it depends on what you are searching for and how you are searching for it. The only thing available on there is whatever other people are making available. If it's not offered by your peers, it's not going to be there.

ok this happens to me a lot too but if u pull up ur limewire page to full then on the very bottom left corner there should be a spot for ur connection. they're 5 bars. ok if u hav no connection then sometimes u just have to wait for a while. just give it some time and leave ur internet connected and the bars should fully turn green.

Usually the reason is because something is blocking your connection.
If you are getting NO results, then that means your search is not going thru.
Try checking your firewall and/or antivirus, and don't forget your internal XP firewall, which just about stops everything.

I get that on certain computers. Try using bittorrents, much better. Get azureus and use torrentspy. My favorites. Limewire is full of virus'.
