Hi, I am working in a public traded company as a student employee. I only have G1 license and I don't have a valid parking permit in the company 's parking lot.

One day, I just want to park the car in the parking lot for a while. I accidently put my foot on gas instead of brake. The car hit one side of the buildng.

As far as I can tell, it only hurt the protection layer (just plastic stuff that prevents heat leaking out I guess). The pipe became visible.

The company's facility department will get me the damange cost early next week.

I already sorted out other things ,like fixing car, driving without G2.

My biggest problem is how should I deal with my company ?
If the company's insurance agent send me a bill which I can't afford, what can I do ?

Please help. :--(

Thanks for all your suggestion.
I understand I will need to pay it.

My concern is the exact amount.
Should I just pay whatever the company's insurance company asks for ?

Can I get a 3rd party to do a different estimate ?

Is declaring bankruptcy an option ?

you can get a loan from the bank but then you have to pay them back and that will be more money trouble so you should find someone in your family who is nice who will pitch in the rest of the money that you need and maybe if there nice enough then they wont expect you to pay them back.

You should have already reported this to your insurance company, and then they won't be surprised if you send them the bill when you get it. Clearly you are at fault, and hopefully you don't have a very high deductible that you will have to pay.

Do you have insurance on the car. There then is why you do. Pay that deductible unless the cost of repair is less than the deductible

Ha, Ha, Ha, Please don't take offense to my laughter. I am only laughing because you reminded me of the time I ran into the service station wall with my bosses car a long time ago.
As for the bill, you will pay it somehow. This will all be very funny to you one day also. lmao.

Make payment arrangements with them. Let them take a small percentage directly from your check .
