your hairstyle sounds very similar to mine actually...i have it about 3 inches all over, with my bangs down to my mouth in length & worn to the side...i usually spike mine up...sometimes i wear cute hair clips just in the front, on my bangs, or sometimes i`ll go totally crazy & put them everywhere in my hair to liven things up a bit!!! if i don`t want to spike it, sometimes i just take some paste or wax & run it through, giving that piecey "bedhead" look...also, sometimes i braid my bangs & secure with a hairband, which is something a bit different...even tho we don`t have much hair, there`s still a lot of options for us short-hair gals!!! just play around with it & have fun!!! you`re really only limited by your imagination!!!

Try some cute hair clips or headbands which will always be fashionable, they make them in so many designs and colors you can get one to match all your outfits for a good price. I would not use any products or hair sprays as that damages your hair, your skin and the environment since its full of toxic chemicals. Try making your won hair get at home, all you do is take 1/2 to 1 teaspoon unflavored gelatin and 1 cup warm water or purchase these organic toxic free hair products here: http://www.theremustbeabetterway.co.uk/Products/Hair_Care/Organic_Hair_Styling.htm. Hope that helps.

definitely had the same probably a few years back. headbands + flipping it out w/ a round brush + a blowdryer or using a curling iron flip it out. use a hairspray to help the frizzies go away =] goodluck!
