They dont know what the "forbidden fruit" was, so, people just speculated that it was an apple. Of course, my preacher says it was a banana because he hates that fruit LOL! (Yes, it amuses me).
As for the three wise men, they were Kings and they were supposed to be astronomers from far off... hmmm I forget from where...its been a long time ago :)
I wish you well..

No it does not say an apple people just assume it because when they think of a fruit tree the automatic think of apple. It could have been a pear.
And about the wise men:
Matthew 2:11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense and myrrh.
These wise men, correctly recognized that the special witness of "his star" (Matthew 2:2) fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah 60:3, which foretold that "Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising." In Persian society, the Magi were honored as royalty, and they brought gifts appropriate for another King. The fact that they brought three gifts--gold indicating Christ's future reign, frankincense indicating Christ's priestly intercession for them, and myrrh indicating Christ's coming death for them--has given rise to the tradition that there were just three wise men, but there may well have been many more.

Actually, the manuscripts say that Eve had sexual relations with satan (who is the tree of the knowledge of good/evil) and that the result was that God told Eve He would multiply her conception: He did, by 2, exactly. She was pregnant with twins. One pregancy of two separate fathers: Abel was the son of Adam, but Cain was the son of Satan. Thats what the original hebrew manuscripts that your Bible was translated from, says. No apple involved; no fruit-eating sin involved at all. Thats a lie that is taught in Sunday schools across the USA;
and you know what? When you start someone understanding the Bible with a lie,
the rest of the Bible isn't going to make sense. This is esspecially true with the Adam and Eve in the Garden story.
Its the actual foundation that almost every other important fact in the Bible, relys on.
Most every Prophetic statement in the Bible depends on the foundation of the truth in Eve's sin. Without the understanding of
the truth of what happened in the Garden,
all people see in the Bible is alot of confusion and inconsistancies. Its not the Word of God that is in error, its that people
don't have all the facts they need in order
to understand it. A damned shame, really.

You are correct on both accounts.
Also when the wise men or more correctly magi went to find Jesus, this caused a massive infanticide by Herod. Not a pretty story.
I don't see why people include the "wise men" in the story of Christ's birth. It happened a long time after He was born.

Yes, you're right. The Bible doesn't say it's an apple. We just have assumed it was an apple. I'm guessing it was some sort of super scrumptious, delectable fruit - the likes of which man has not seen since. That's probably why the snake (Satan) was able to tempt Eve so much with it and she was able to tempt Adam. Just my guess though.

WOW! You figured that out all by yourself?
Adam and Eve ate Passion fruit, and that's were it gets its name.
We think "3 wisemen" because there were 3 gifts.
....All this is a joke all you "Thumbs-Downers"
