Put the eggs in a big pot of cold water. Bring the water and the eggs up to a boil, turn the stove off and cover. Let them sit for 12-14 minutes, then you can rinse them in cold water so they're easy to handle.

Don't hard boil your eggs for Easter. They will peel too easily when you paint them or dye them.
Poke a hole on each end of a raw egg. On one end of the egg blow out the yoke. Or you can shake the yoke out. You may need to make the holes on the ends a little bit bigger so it's easier for the yoke to come out. This may be time consuming with 24 eggs.
You can buy kits at any store like Wal Mart. The kits come with the egg poker too.

Boil the water, place the room temperature eggs in the boiling water. Boil the eggs for 15 minutes. Then remove the eggs from the water and run cold water over them. Let them sit and dry before coloring.

Have Fun! Happy Easter!!!

All of the above ideas will work great. One thing to keep in mind as well, is that eggs that are a bit older will peel much nicer than super fresh ones! Good luck!

Boil eggs for 8-10 minutes.(5 minutes for softboiled) To test if they are done, spin them.An uncooked egg spins slowly a hard boiled egg spins quickly.

6 minutes, it doesn't matter how many eggs are in the pot. But the water has to cover all of them
