Most plant matter has less protein and more matter that is hard to digest (cellulose). However, plant matter is good for you in ways that animal matter is not. Eat a balanced diet.

Plant is less nourishing because it has cellulose, and humans can't digest it. Plant tissue also doesn't have a lot of protein, which is something humans need to survive. Animal tissue is pretty good for you except for the fat. You can digest everything in meat, and it contains a lot of protein.

Our bodies are better at digesting meat than cellulose, which is what most plant matter is. We are meant to eat both, but it was hunting that gave us a huge advantage over other primates because of the quick energy from meat.

the humna body cant break down cellulose which is what plant cells are made of. so you can break it a little but not enough to use all of it
