it's not ADHD. It's probably boredom and sitting in the same place surrounded by the same things and same people day after day would make anyone crazy. It'll give you a small case of cabin fever.
Can you listen to music? Maybe some streaming music on your computer. Music always helps.

I doubt it's ADHD. We're not meant to sit in an office for 8 hours. I used to schedule bathroom breaks so I'd have something to look forward to (when I worked in an office). Make a point of standing up and doing some stretches every hour or so.

Hello, I also work in an office and I get the same way. I have found it to be mostly boredom or not challenging enough. Try some vitamins . One a day has one .It 's in a green bottle and it says All Day active. It helpd me focus my mind better. Plus there are also other vitamins at your local store that are for concentration. Good Luck. It sounds as if you just need a challenge!!!

It's easy to get exhausted sitting down at a desk all day. Medically, it's important to take a short break every now and then to help prevent Repetitive Strain Injury (eg. muscle aches, eye discomfort, etc), but mentally it's vital to boost energy levels and one's ability to confront that which one is trying to handle through one's job.
There have been legal cases where employees have sued their employers for not allowing such breaks and staff have inevitably begun to suffer from physical problems because of it. Might be worth looking into.

You sound like you are just bored---there are surveys that you can take to see if you have ADHD.
I have epilepsy and would feel like I was fixing to have a seizure when I was playing chess or learning a new hospital system or anything that I would have to concentrate on---when I was 37 I mentioned it to my Dr in passing and he said that I had ADHD---anyway, he was right and my school and work life are a lot better since I'm on the meds.

I had that problem at a boring job that I had. Part of it was the boredom and part of it was that I did not get enough exercise when I was off work. My legs actually ached from sitting in one place. I felt as if I was going to (as my mother used to say) "jump out of my skin." An increase in exercise helped me tremendously.

It sounds like "I'm Bored At My Job" syndrome, or IBAMJ!
Seriously, it does not sound like ADHD. It sounds like maybe you might want to consider a career change? Jobs where even walking around briefly is forbidden can really make a person miserable.

You might have ADHD, only a psychiatrist would be able to say for sure, but more than likely you are just bored with your job. Do you actually like what you do or are you just there for a paycheck? If you don't like your job, it is probably time for a career change.

It's isn't ADHD. Unfortunately ADHD is one of the very misunderstood illnesses. Everyone thinks they have it because they get bored.
You're just bored. Maybe it's time for a career change to something more exciting?
