If you swallow fleas very often you could get a tapeworm.....rare but it has happened. Not something to worry about. I was a groomer and never got a tapeworm.
If you go barefoot in certain areas you can get Whipworm.
I don't believe Round Worms are much of a human threat.
Worms in general are not a human threat. Ringworm is about the only thing you can catch...but that's not a worm at all.
But I'd just worm your puppy according to schedule...ask the vet or the breeder. That way you don't have to worry about worms in your puppy either !!

It is possible. The most probable way you'd get them is through contact with her feces. If you, or other people, spend time in your yard or around the area in which your dog uses the bathroom, you should clean up after her. Keep an eye on her - don't let her get into your food, try to limit licking, and wash your hands after touching her. It's a pretty slim chance that you'll get her worms, but better safe then sorry. After she's done with her medication you won't have anything to worry about.

No you can't!! You have nothing to worry about. Its very easy to get rid of the puppy's worms too..they are all born with them. You just give them de-wormer (I think its called Drontid) like three times with a few weeks in between. Take the dog to the vet & don't worry about yourself..u def. will not get worms from the dog.

No but Cow's milk will give your puppy cronic diareaha. Dogs are lactose intolerant. Take your puppy to the vet to get dewormed if you think he has worms. And don't feed your puppy milk. If he's over the age of 8 weeks he needs to be fed puppy food.

I don't know which kind of worms your puppy has but there are some types of worms you can get from your animals whether it be cat or dog. You need to get that puppy to the vet and have it checked out and medicated.

The bacteria that gives a dog worms attacks their immune system in a different way than people. The bacteria cannot transfer to humans thankfully. So just get your pup better. Good Luck!

There are many different worms a puppy can have. Many of these don't affect us the same way they do dogs, but many of them CAN be transferred to humans. Talk to your vet!!!! He or she is not allowed to give human medical information except for basic information but will be able to give you the information you need. It may not be extremely common, but I wouldn't want to be the one it happened to!!!

I would be doubtful in thinking that unless of course you eat the puppy but, to be sure consult your local veterinarian.
