Because people have been known to sit on deathrow for 20 years... and a new technology comes along and proves what they have been saying for 20 years... they are innocent.

It's a sad world, where we punish people for murder with murder.

Because 2 out of 3 of them will be thrown out, anyway. The death penalty is a proven non deterrant. It is inherently flawed, and without any basis in morality.
