There are a number of so called "christian" beliefs that are of pagan origin. So many, in fact, that the face of christianity has been changed forever. Very few religions still practice TRUE christianity.

So very true.

Such as Christmas, Easter, Halloween, etc.
Some who claim to be christians are simply following tradition. They don't want to let it go. I guess getting gifts and pretty eggs are way more important than following the commands of Christ himself.

Well just because Christmas takes place on the same day as an ancient pagan relgion does not mean we are celebrating that pagan religion. Yes pagan traditions have entered the Christian religion but that does not mean their beliefs have. As a previous answer said, any pagan traditions and beliefs that did enter our faith actually are in the bible. Christmas, easter, and thanksgiving are all times when we thank the Lord for what he has done for us. It is not nessarily his DOB (date of birth) or DOD (date of death).

It's true that there are many pagan religious rituals that have entered into Christianity. But it does not mean that they have to be my Christian beliefs. I think that's cool. I'm free from those things! YEAH! Glory to God!

Absolutely. I keep hearing Christians right on this very forum who are wishing others a "happy easter".

Actually, the pagan components were adopted early enough to be validated in the Bible.
