They are truly awesome. GODS' creations. We should all hope to be so free someday to wake up a butterfly.(Don't take that literally) I mean a transformation of self to something even more wonderful than we already are. Pure consciousness is the butterfly for us to transform into. Stay conscious and keep watching those butterflies.

Extremely Beautiful !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Some Zoos have places where these beautiful creatures reside in enclosed, warm habitats, and it is such an amazing thing to have a bunch of Large Butterflies land on me at the same time.
Unfortunately I also saw some small child, clapping his hands together trying to catch or clobber some large Butterflies.... the Mother Did nothing but laugh, and luckily the child was too unco-ordinated to catch let alone hit any Butterfly....
Despite that....
The Butterfly enclosure was an experience that stayed with me. I saw a similar thing done in POLTERGEIST 2, around the Medicine man .... Thats pretty much what happened to me except the Butterflies were larger

Butterflys are very beautiful yes. By default, I have to object to the "God's creation" bit.
As an American (I presume), you may not know my personal favourite, the (appropriately? named) Brimstone, which is flying now. In fact, I've seen a lot of butterflys today (I'm in England) as it has been beautifully warm and sunny.
Saw several peacock butterflys as well.

Butterflies are amazing. Tons of variation and they are fascinating. How many creatures can go from something that people will spray poison on and crush on sight to something that people go ga-ga over.
However, to the person who said atheists say they evolved from monkeys: you must be plain stupid. Find me one link to a person who says butterflies came from monkeys. Of course,he asked in another question how can he convert everyone to christianity within 5 years.

butterflies are only 1 of the awesome creations... have you ever snorkled and see the tropical fish? they are just as gorgeous and just as different from the next too. God is pretty amazing

Very beautiful. I would add that horses are beautiful as well. They are so majestic and graceful, and to watch them run is truly a beautiful sight.

Yes, especially the little lemon colored ones, or those blue ones, they are all beautiful.
