The"horrors of hell" are nothing more than what you make them, since hell is just an imaginary place in your head.
No righteous person would WANT to watch someone else writhe in agony.

There's nothing to be afraid of when you die, there is no hell. I'm so happy I'm not raised with the horror stories you were told. I think it would have scared and scarred me for life. Luckily I was brought up without any kind religion (a natural born atheist, I was never told there is a god, nor was I told there is none), so I can see how you are indoctrinated with all this stone-age nonsense.
I'm so lucky not to be in your shoes. I don't think I would have known how to live my life, because I'd always be afraid not to have believed in the right interpretation of all what is written about how to get in heaven, or hell.
I imagine death as "nothing". A human need his brain to see, hear, think, and everything else we do. When the brain doesn't function, like the microprocessor in a computer, there's nothing there to fulfill these functions anymore.
But still I live on after death, but I do that in the way I raise my children, or otherwise influence my environment. I see heaven and hell in the way people remember me after I've died.
I hope this clears the sky about how atheist and agnostics might think about heaven and hell (other could have a different view), but in the end we just don't believe that there are such places as you describe, so we are not afraid of it either.

If you're trying to "WITNESS" to people PASTOR, you are going about it the wrong way.
I believe in Heaven and Hell but I've never seen it and neither have you. But I have faith and I believe in God and that Jesus was the son of God and died on the cross for all of our sins. I would like to think that if someone raped, tortured, murdered somebody, but especially a child , would be punished for what they've done.If we thought that there isn't any punishment for all the things we've done, then there would be more murders, crime.,hate etc. So, what do all you non-belivers think? Do you think we should just do whatever we want and get away with it ? Don't you want them to be punished? You would if it was your child, mother, sister, friend, family. If you don't ,then I feel sorry for you. It'll be to late after you die to see that we were right about there being a God. And it is such a shame, this could be prevented by just believing. What could it hurt?

I think you have just done more to damage Christianity than the atheists ever could. We are not going to win this war through words of hatred and fear. Unbelievers need to know that Hell exists, and what it's going to be like, but only love will win their hearts. And as for viewers into Hell being in Heaven, where do you see that in Scripture? And if you're there, enjoying being with God and Jesus and the rest of the saints, why would you want to know what's going on in Hell, and even if you did, how do you possibly think you'd get any joy out of it? Go back to God and ask Him to set your heart right. You've missed the whole point.

LOL. Sounds like a bad horror flick.
If this is a disguised Pascal's Wager, bring the lager.
What's truly scary though is that some Christians actually rejoice at the thought of people burning in hell and otherwise suffering. Apparently, they see it as being for the glory of God.

Sola Scriptura is an particularly risky dogma because of the fact it says that each and every person is inspired by ability of the Holy Spirit interior the interpreting of Scripture. It says that each and every guy or woman is infallible. So how does one clarify the contradictions interior Protestant, and different non-Catholic Christian, Biblical interpretations, besides as between persons? could the Holy Spirit contradict Himself? Sola Scriptura opens up the potential of incorrect information of Scripture and, located interior the palms of charlatans and the ignorant, interpretations would be made that are volatile. Interpretations would be made and twisted to greater healthful each and every physique’s desires and preconceived notions.

I could not live in a heaven while others were in hell. I'd kill myself rather than be pleasured while others were tortured for no good reason. If I could not die, I'd throw myself into hell. Better to be tortured with the righteous than sit at the table of the self-righteous.

No I don't grasp when I found the horrors of Hell. I think the people who are in Hell wouldn't be having a good time there right now.

Yikes......no way can we ever grasp the tortures they will go through just as we can not begin to understand the wonders of heaven. But I can assure you of one thing there is NO WAY there would be a window into hell. NO WAY Righteous people would want to watch others suffer and take pleasure in it! Those people would be in hell.
