No, and your neighbor's homeowners won't cover it, either.

No one can put a claim in on a homeowners policy except the policyowner. You can try to sue her, but she didn't make the tree fall down, so you'll lose that.

The insurance that would cover the car, is "comprehensive" on your auto insurance policy. If you don't have it, you're out of luck - also known as, self insured.

You can but it will more than likely be denied. The part of the policy you would be making a claim under is the liability portion. It only pays if the insured is negligent. You have to ask what did your neighbor do wrong? How are they labile? They can't control the tornado. You need to file under your auto comp coverage.

Sorry, but a claim for this would not be covered by their homeowners coverage either.

They would have to have to be negligent for your damages. That would be impossible to prove due to the tornado.

If you have comp coverage on the car that would cover the damages.

It would have to be shown that your neighbor was neglectful in some way.
You will no doubt have to claim on your comprehensive ins.

YES!!! it is his property(TREE) that damage your property. He should be fine with that, that is why you have to carry insurance.

A limb broke off my tree and damaged a neighbors car, my insurance paid for it.
