The chances of passing a drug test by cheating is becoming harder with technology and procedures used to curb the problem.
Why Masking And Adding Does Not Work.
Sample substitutions or adulterations have become a significant issue due to the prevalence of synthetic and/or clean urine and a wide range of adulterants on the internet. One of the methods to check for adulterants is to add some amount of an actual substance to a small portion of the sample and then recheck that portion. If a masking agent is present in the urine, the resulting urinalysis will have a negative result despite the fact that a substance was added. You just failed.
Some diuretics and herbal extracts, such as goldenseal, are marketed as a quick "detox" from controlled substances, but their effectiveness is very questionable. Many types of urinalysis can detect the use of these "detox" products. You are taking a big risk.
Some people drink copious amounts of water. A sufficiently diluted sample may be rejected due to its lack of Creatinine. Creatinine is a natural protein created by the body and is usually excreted in the urine at fairly constant concentrations. When the urine is diluted by frequent urination, the creatinine level in the urine will drop. Creatinine levels can be tested for and a low creatinine level may indicate you have attempted to flush your system. If the product does not reestablish your overall normal balance, including Creatinine, you fail.
As others have suggested...the best thing to do is stop doing the illegal drugs.
Remember that drug testing is done by employers who have committed their life savings and efforts to make their businesses produce. Employers are more apt to hire and retain employees who don't consistantly test positive or inconclusive on their drug tests. They look for employees who are as committed as themselves to making the business productive.
Why do companies "outsource" our jobs to other countries...because they can trust the employees to do a good job for their pay without having to worry about the drug culture bringing down their businesses.

It depends on when you start drinking water. If your urine appears too dilute when you give the sample, this will be a flag to some test collectors. The most effective way to dilute your urine is to start drinking water about 3 days before you're required to take the test. Drink as much as you possibly can on the first and second day. And I mean, drink 2 gallons or more EACH DAY. On the third day, drink several large glasses in the morning, and then resume normal habits after about noon on the third day. This should sufficiently dilute your urine, but allow it time to gain a little more color, and it won't be so obvious that you're trying to hide something.
You should go to the bathroom as much as possible during those first two days. You're not only diluting your urine, but flushing your system out. On the day of your test, drink a few large glasses in the morning, and try not to urinate until its time to give your sample. DISCLAIMER: This is no guarantee. The kind of drugs you use and how often you use them play a big part. Your personal body metabolism also comes into play. In most cases, though, this should dilute your drug level down to undetectable for routine drug screening.

Also -- Pee a little into the toilet and then catch just what is necessary for testing, and then finish peeing in the toilet. Just give them a midstream sample.

It is hard to fool a drug test. My druggie friends claim that drinking lots of water (like...3-4 gallons) and taking achanasia helped them cheat the test. But basically, the thing to remember, don't do drugs and you won't have to cheat the urine test in the first place.

Question to your question. Why do you want to? If you are hiding drug use, drinking a lot, eating lots of salted snack food, taking several cayenne pepper capsules, (available where they sell vitamins), and urinating a lot will help. If you want to fail a test, (like when guys getting drafted wanted to fail), Drink two 12 oz. cans of pop two to six hours before the test. (You will test positive for diabetes).

You need more than water to clear a urine. How about just saying "no" OR going to a local healthfood store and getting a detox.

Just hope they don't take a hair sample! You can beat the test, but only if they do the really cheap tests! If you don't want to test positive, stop taking drugs!

I would drink LOTS of water and cranberry juice to flush out my system and go often, but it would depend on how long you had before the test.

Go as often as you can..the more you get out, the more diluted it will be with water.

maybe you should obey the law and not use drugs and you wouldnt have to worry about things like this and we wouldnt have to worrie about people like you being on the roads
