There is no indication in the Bible just what this "mark of Cain" is. Some people think that it is black skin, although I fail to see why it would be black skin and not white skin.

No, not to red hair; it refers to Irish people. Cain was Irish, and henceforth all Irish are cursed. I'm only part Irish, so I'm okay.

No. Usually refers to dark skin as he was the "father" or from his seed came the Caananites and they were of an african race and had black skin.
