I'll answer this from an instructor's point of view. The best place to fish is the place you know best. What is meant here is you should be able to catch more fish fishing an area you are well acquainted with as opposed to fishing somewhere blind. With experience and patience, you will learn the methods needed to catch fish most anywhere without guidance. Your learned skills will serve as your guide so you can fish with confidence. But for now, try the links below.

Good luck fishing

To fish Bass (small mouth) or Walleye--you're going to want to travel about 30 miles north of Rhinelander--to the Eagle River/Three Lakes Chain of Lakes:

Why not fish the WI river? Also, Rhinelander is one of the best fishing spots in the state!

And it's spelled walleye

the best spot to catch fish in wisconsin would have to be the mighty miss the river there has lily pads coontail rock logs and every thing else that makes it the hottest place plus it is narrower than the southern region wich makes it more manageable

For Walleye, I would have to say the Fox River in Green Bay.

Visit that site. There is alot of info on tactics that work in the Fox, as well as pictures.
