While I see hardly any Hindus, Jews, or Buddhist fighting. Atheism does not count because its not really a religion...

I am a Muslim, but Islam and Christianity come from the same base.... Jesus PBUH and Mohamed PBUH even share ancestors... Religion is suppose to be personal and its not anymore..... All people do is fight and insult the prophets PBUH....

Good question. I'm a muslim and yet I hate to see other muslims and christians in a battle over who is right. It kind of reminds me of the fights little kids have with their siblings. Don't we all believe in god and believe in doing good? so why are we doing bad by critisizing each other? That raises the question; are you really a muslim or a christian?
for whoever said islam and christianity are not anything alike:
muslims and christians both believe in God, Juses, Moses, , the 10 commandmants, Noah, Ishmiel, Jacob,etc
the main and probably only serious difference is that muslims belive that Jesus is not god, he is a prophet and we believe he never died. He is in the sky now and is still alive with a body. He will later come as the massiah

It is sad; unfortunate; perhaps a political misfire some where in the past is the real reason. We all may try to be positive on this wonderful Yahoo/Answers Forum and try to initiate Inter Faith Peace. That is the need of the times. This is not the forum to stress upon theological issues.

They are not in battle, the men who follow the religion are. I personally havent "battled" with any muslims in my lifetime.
