i dont know much about women's clothing sizes but what size clothing is too "big" when it comes to women?? is a 9 big???

I'm a 5 and that's kinda on the small side. I would think a 9 is a medium size but anything bigger than that would be large.

It depends on who you're talking to. For example, in the black community a size 9 might be considered "small" or "medium" because we prefer not to be traditionally thin, while in other communities a size 9 might be considered big.
I wear a size 13 in juniors and black men can't stop drooling about how I'm "thick," but my friends who are not black would probably diet if they were my size. That's true even though I work out several times a week and I am in good shape. So it depends on who you're asking. Personally I would never go under a size 9 or 11 because I don't like the way it looks, but that's just me. Some women would feel fat if they wore a 9.

It depends on how tall she is. If she's 5'5" or under and a size 9, she's a little thick. If she's 5'5" to 5'7", then she's probably normal. If she's 5'8" and over at a size 9, she's thin.
One thing to note as well is that usually juniors' sizes are odd numbers: 0,1,3,5,7,9,11, etc.
Women's sizes are even numbers: 0,2,4,6,8,10,12, etc.
Oh yeah- and another thing is "sizing" women's clothes is dang near impossible. Unlike the genius sizing of mens clothes (pant waist in inches, inseam in inches=basic, easy, be on your way), women's clothes are not created equal. A size 9 from one company may be the equivalent to a size 7 or 8 at another place. In my closet, I have a wide range of sizes, but everything fits me. (go figure!!)

Seriously, it depends on the girl. If a girl is 5'10" and a size 9 then that is thin....if she is 5'0" and a size 9, then she might be a little chubby.
You want to know the average size of a woman in the US, if that is where you are from? It's a 14......

BIG is always what size fits too loose on the lady in question. I know a lot of women in 3x sizes who think they look great. THat's THEIR business. But if they put on a larger size, then that's too big. You find a woman who wears a size 5 and she looks at a 7 or 8 and she thinks "My lord, that's BIG!" So it's all relative.
My wife wears an 8 and thinks she's HUGE!! She's fine., but she'll never beleive it in my lifetime. Sigh.....

Size 9 is not big, I believe the measurements would be: 36-37 inch bust, 28-29 inch waist, 38-39 inch hips. So it might be a little thick if you are 5ft and quite slim if you 6ft, but it's certainly not too big or fat for anyone.

size 9 is a good healthy looking size. when you hit about 18 thats when there is more than needed.
HOWEVER it also depends on the size and shape of a woman. I know lots of girls that are tall and curvy that wear 10s and 12 and look about the right size for their size and shape
Its like you guys always say SIZE DOESNT MATTER!

If she's tall, like 5' 9", and she has a good shape, 9 isn't terrible, but that's about as high as you want to go
