We regularly are threatened and intimidated by muslem extremists, suicide bombers, and terrorists. But as a global minority, and a minority in ths country do they not stop to think they themselves are vulnerable, and their mosques.

Muslims are the same as other human beings and have the same feelings and fears as the rest of us.

As a group, they must feel very vunerable and the extremists are not typical.

I worked in the Middle East for several years and found most Muslims to be reasonable, friendly people.

I've been thinking about this since 9/11. I do feel sorry for the majority of muslims in england, because they are all being tarred with the same brush. I have to admit, I'm a bit guilty of doing it myself. The problem is, most christian / atheist people living in england don't know anything about the Islam faith. The koran (is that the word or is that the jewish book?.... see, I don't even know what their holy book is called) either says muslims must kill christians and jews, or it doesn't! Which is it?!! Are the terrorists just violent people who interpret the words of Allah as they see fit?... Or are they truly doing what they've been told to do? These people are no worse than Hitler as far as I'm concerned. And the day england becomes a muslim state, is the day I emigrate. Over my dead body will I be forced to 'cover up' and 'honour my husband'.

If I see one of those devout muslim women with just a peep hole in her gowns to see out of, getting on the same plane as me, I would **** myself and probably refuse to get on the plane. This probably seems racist, but after 9/11 and the july london bombings, I just want to live my life. If that means not getting on a plane with a load of asians, so be it!

And who is this Aziz pakistaani preacher guy with the pork on his doorstep?!!! Are you joking Aziz? Or do you need to be deported?

Yes they are vulnerable-or actually we are vulnerable. Many of the suiciders do it because they want to revenge at what war is doing to our mosques and country. When you are stripped of dignity, when you have lost everyone you have loved, and when your life has turned into a nightmare, you can only seek revenge. And you try to grab the attention of people. Think, why do muslims bomb and kill themselves? There must be something that makes them do so. It is something strong. It is not religion. Religion is just the excuse. What makes them suicide is revenge!

I don't think all Muslims are terrorists however I do think they are vulnerable. If you speak out against them you become a target. Add to that all the Muslims countries seem to be run by tyranical dictators. So I don't think that moderates in these countries live a very happy existance.

It is people like you and those that are answering your question which will bring unity.

One of the largest problems is that there is a lack of understanding and people like you are changing that by asking questions.

Its upto all sides to be more communicative!

In terms of vulnerability, like any minority group, yes muslims are vulnerable, however to overcome this muslims need to engage more and although lifestyle is different more efforts should be made to assimilate.

They are vulnerable in other countries besides America and the Middle East. That is sad but true, if there was a radical Muslim walking down the street in places in Russia, they would be shot dead in the street and nobody would say a word about what happened or who did it.

All extremists are minorities. That's why it's so hard to fight a battle against people we can't find.
If you are referring to Muslims in general being a minority, you should reconsider who you are blaming for terrorism. BTW, Islam is the second largest global religion.

I don't understand them at all they want to live in Britain, yet have no respect for our laws, culture or any thing that put the Great in Britain. If our country is so bad why do they choose to live here. I appreciate it's not all of them but they should be policing there communities better.I personally wouldn't live in a country who's cultures or laws I didn't respect :)
