I doubt if you get anything for all these points. I try to answer questions that I KNOW the answer, so to me, it is the good feeling I get for helping people with the correct answer.
I do know that the more questions you answer, it puts you in different levels, and it is satisfying to make it to the "top", which I think is level 7.

The amount of points you have determine how many questions and answers you can ask and provide in one day.
In addition, to ask a question, you must spend 5 points - so you need to do things to get yourself points if you want to ask more than 20 questions.
