Country in spanish means "PaÃs" for example Italy or Germany are countries.
Countryside in spanish means "campo" meansing the rural area outside big cities where farmers may live, vegetables may grow, or just the landscape is to be seen.
In a global way of speaking, Country means "PaÃs" (see examples) and Countryside means "Campo", rural suburbs, natural landscapes.

In that context it would be "Yo vivo en el campo". Remember that depending on what you want to say it can be "pais", as in an actual country (Yo vivo en los Estados Unidos) OR "campo", as in the countryside. :) Hope this helps!

The word would be 'campo' but you can just say 'Vivo fuera de la ciudad' which means 'I live outside the city'.
