Do not shave your arms. Bleach them. Use Jolen Creme Hair Bleach. It may take a while, but it lasts much longer that shaving. It makes the hairs so light you can hardly notice them.

1. No one shaves their arms, except for my male cousin.
2. The consequenses are prickly arms and unsightly ingrown hairs.
3. I do not, nor will I ever. I bleach my arm hairs.
4. It is not ok because there is a better option...BLEACHING : )

Good luck.

1. Some swimmers do it. Not that many people do it.
2. It will grow back and be poking out and pokey
3. I do not shave my arms (my friend did) but with her she had ugly arms then after. It makes you look prettier. I would regret it.
4. It's a free country do you can do whatever you want. It is just life and someday you will die. Don't care what other people think.

You know I dont know what the big deal is. But I'm guessing its ok, though I'd suggest waxing instead.

to answer your questions:
1. Yes I know of a lot of girls that do it.

2. There arent any consequences besides maybe some bumps and thicker hair growing in.

3. Yes I have done it a few times before, nothing happened, I had smooth arms. But I did regret it a little bit because I did get a few bumps, but thats the worst that could happen.

4. And yes, I'm guessing its ok.

1. I'm naturally unhairly and when I do have hair on my arms and legs, they're tranparent. My bf says they're blonde like his hair. DO NOT shave your arms, I have had a girl friend who did that, and when she didn't shave for 1 day and she would wanna hold my arm, hug me, stay next to me. It irritates me, my skin when it gets rubbed off on her arms. They're sharp, thicker(than before she started to shave them) and I would get a rash.

2. Thicker, they grow real fast

3. Thank goodness no

4. It's not the end of the world, but it would worsen your situaion. I'd suggest waxing or get it lazered. It might take a while, but it would make it finer and some of them will stop to grow it it won't. They''ll tell you not to shave your hair, and when you go to your sessions, they will shave them and see where your hair is, how they're growing, how thick, etc. To know where to direct the lazer.

I do it! Here is why: I tried Nair and it burned my skin and gave me a terrible rash, wax also gives me a reaction! So yes I shave! Do I regret it? Yeah kind of... The hair tends to grow back quicker than expected, if you try to grow it out the hair doesn't lay right, and for some it appears to come in darker! I have hardly any arm hair and it was blonde so I don't know why I futzed with it in the first place! It is your body and you are allowed to do as you please with it. It isn't wrong but it may not be the method for you! Maybe waxing would be a better and more efficient route for you! They have gentle wax (Azulene) to avoid irritation!

1. I don't know if a lot of girls do it, but I know a few who do.
2. I've always heard that the hair will grow back thicker and darker.
3. I don't shave my arms. I don't need to. the hairs that I do have are light, and there aren't that many of them.
I did shave my arms once, and I did regret it. it felt weird without them, and when they started growing back in, they felt strange.
4. it's perfectly okay to shave your arms if you want to or need to.
I know it probably sounds crazy, but I heard one time that only hookers shaved their arms. and that's probably why there's the "is it okay to shave your arms" question. trust me, this isn't the first time I've seen people debate it.
that story may or may not have been true at one time or another, I don't know!

don't do it as often as you would shave your legs. The hair will always grow back more corse especially if you are hairy or have dark hair to begin with. I shave mine and then let them grow back out before I shave them again. I have light hair and you can not really tell if you have really dark hair BE CAREFUL! use bleaches...go to a spa and talk to a professional about it!!

I know one girl who shaved her arms. They were weird and scratchy feeling. I didn't like it.

I Naired my arms once. It felt really strange but the stubble wasn't bad when it grew back. I never did it again though.

And finally, yes it's ok. It's not right or wrong, it's up to you.
